Daliwonga, Sino Msolo and Khuzani to Headline Braam Culture Fest 2025
With less than a week to go, Braam Culture Fest 2025 has unveiled its final Phase Two line-up, naming Daliwonga, Sino Msolo and Khuzani as headline acts set to anchor the festival at Constitutional Hill in Braamfontein on 6 September 2025.
Billed as Johannesburg’s biggest celebration of street urban culture, Braam Culture Fest 2025 is more than just a music event — it is a fusion of sound, lifestyle, art, and community.
Supported by the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture and the Department of Arts and Culture, the festival aims to stand shoulder to shoulder with national heavyweights like Cotton Fest, Spring Fiesta, and Hey Neighbour, while carving out its own distinct identity in the country’s festival landscape.
The newly announced Phase Two line-up brings fresh fire to the already hyped festival programme. Joining the headlining trio of Daliwonga, Sino Msolo, and Khuzani are Mvzzle, Ntokzin, Kaygee The Vibe, TNK Musiq, Goonflavour, Bizzcuit, Yo.Miyra, Mordecai, Edwin 016, Miss Hilary, Kmass (YFM), Vulelma Weekend, and Pwedy Sawciie (VIP Host), with Phindi Black as MC. Together, they represent the spectrum of South Africa’s urban sound — from chart-topping anthems to underground rhythms shaping the city streets.
Festival co-founder Siyabonga Mahlangu described the announcement as the moment where the festival’s vision becomes reality:
“Our dream for Braam Culture Fest has always been to build a platform that reflects the true rhythm of Johannesburg. To have artists like Daliwonga, Sino Msolo, and Khuzani leading our line-up alongside new names who represent the next wave is a powerful statement.
This is more than entertainment — it is about giving the city a stage where its creativity, diversity, and resilience shine. On 6 September, Constitutional Hill will not just host a festival, it will host the pulse of a generation.”
Co-founder Khona Daki emphasised the significance of the location and the festival’s broader cultural purpose:
“Braamfontein is the creative capital of Johannesburg, and Constitutional Hill carries the weight of history and the promise of the future.
Hosting Braam Culture Fest here is not an accident — it is a deliberate choice to honour our past while celebrating the energy of today’s youth culture.
Beyond the music, this festival is about economic empowerment. It is about local food vendors, fashion designers, sneaker culture, and street artists sharing in the spotlight. This is how culture becomes both celebration and opportunity.”
The festival will span three specially curated levels of experience: Level 1 for Amapiano and Hip-Hop headliners, Level 2 for Gqom and Afro-house innovators, and Level 3 for rising stars and underground disruptors.
Fans can also expect sneaker activations, live graffiti and art installations, cutting-edge fashion pop-ups, and a food village serving both township-inspired dishes and gourmet street cuisine.
Safety, accessibility, and inclusivity are at the forefront of planning. Organisers have confirmed robust event management measures to ensure a secure and welcoming atmosphere for thousands of festivalgoers expected on the day.
