Bolt Driver Murder Case Postponed-Suspects Remain in Custody
Dikeledi Tears Mphela, Gositsiane Machidi and McClaren Mushwana appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court for carjacking and murder of Nigerian E hailing driver Isaac Satlat (22) on Wednesday 11 February 2026.
The three suspects are facing charges of murder and carjacking in connection with the fatal attack on the young Bolt driver.
Satlat’s body and vehicle was found at Pretoria West. The trio have abandoned the bail application and will appear again before the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on the 23 February 2026.
The matter has been postponed to allow for further police investigations. The two male suspects will remain in custody at SAPS Pretoria North Police Station, while Phela is being held at Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Centre.
