Mandela Day is an annual celebration of Nelson Mandela’s life and a global call to action for people to recognise their individual power to make an imprint and change the world around them.

KBN’s History makers season 9 (Changers) had nothing to loose on the day, (with their goal of making other’s lives better), the team challeged their integrity at Alexandra disability centre (Pillsbury), making an imprint and changing the world.

The team dedicated their time and efforts cooking, painting and cleaning at the centre, far-more blowing love&happiness to the kids at everyone involved around the center.

Changers worked in a union to fuel momentum toward positive change, raising awareness and expanding the reach of Mr Mandela’s values – fighting injustice, helping people in need and practicing reconciliation.

” What counts in life is not a mere fact that we lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of other, that will determine the significant of the life we lead,”- Nelson Mandela.
